"But will I actually use it?" (+ other questions you might have)

If you’re considering the Raising Slow membership, I want to make sure you jump in with all of your questions answered. So I thought I'd take a moment to answer the most common ones – including the one I think many of you are asking yourselves but haven't typed out to me yet.

"Will I actually use this? Or will it be another thing I buy and then feel guilty about not using?"

This is the unspoken question, right? I’ve signed up for so many courses that sit, untouched (or with the first module completed and then forgotten all about), in my inbox.

Here's what makes Raising Slow different:

I’ve designed a few of the courses to help you find more time in your day, to make things easier on you. I want you to get through at least the first module of Peaceful Mamas because it will help with that.

"How much time will this take?"

As much or as little as you have. Some members dive deep into courses. Others just use the guided meditations when they need them. Most members listen or watch the course modules when they are doing mindless tasks, like driving to school pickup or folding laundry.

Btw, every single video is also available as audio. If there are slides, they are attached as well. So you can listen anytime.

There's no wrong way to use it and it can take as much time as you want.

If you’re concerned about your budget and want to get the most out of it, I’d recommend starting with Peaceful Mamas, module one and trying to set aside about two hours a week. You could get through the entire course in about six weeks. If you did just that, and then cancelled, it would be well worth it.

"I've tried other mindfulness practices and they didn't stick. Why would this be different?"

Because this isn't just mindfulness – it's mindfulness specifically designed for motherhood. It's practical, realistic, and acknowledges that you might be meditating with a toddler climbing on you or trying to regulate while making dinner.

"What if it's not for me?"
